Darkness

Have you ever felt so numb
That you’re struggling to breathe
Just to watch yourself become
The You you shouldn’t be

Depressed and holding onto this pain
The past comes back to haunt me
Life’s a mess and it doesn’t change
I was supposed to be happy

Then you came and took my light
Just to completely break me down
Then you went as dark as night
And watched me falling down

Into the dark and cold abyss
As I’m struggling to scream
There’s a feeling that has set in
No one will ever hear me

At 3 years old I’ve died
From the monster you’ve put in my head
How will I ever survive
From the torture you left in your stead

I used to be so happy
I became invisible because of you I hide
