Dear Rapist

Makaylla Liggett 1994 (Sandpoint, ID)

People are talking
And it’s about you
You just keep on walking
And you still don’t have a clue

There’s a saying and it goes
“Whatever happens in the dark always comes to the light”
Oh no, everybody’s gonna know
Looks like you’re gonna lose this fight

So every time that you deny
You’re chipping away at the surface
So what’s gonna be your next lie?
You know that you deserve this

They say “the truth will set you free”
For you, you’ll be set free and openly exposed
And everything will be as it should be
I hope you’re prepared to face my ghost

Filled with over twenty years of pent up rage
Revenge has been her cup of tea
Karma is the card she always plays
Once her claws sink in there’s no breaking free

Your demons are no match for me
For years and years in my dreams they stayed
Now I have risen as the Queen
By my right, I’ll haunt you to your grave

Oh no, what’s a child rapist to do?
Maybe get raped since that’s what you like to do
I’ve told our family and even your best friend
When the world swallows you it’ll never end

The demons are coming from the left and from the right
Even my guardian angels have come to fight this fight
Not just demons and angels but advocates too
Maybe this is something you should do

Pray to your demons, angels or whatever god you have left
It would take a miracle because everyone is fucking upset
When they come, it won’t be you they’ll save
Instead they’ll take you to your fucking grave
