Analysis of WINTER LOVE

Farabi 2004 (Dhaka)

Grasses were wet.
All around were nebulous.
No one knows
when the last drop of water falls.
Badly addicted to the scent of mist
a boy was sitting on the bench praising his lord.
But then suddenly
everything stopped for a while
when she passed by.
Wearing a burqa, face wasn’t covered
she threw a smile at him
which was worth keeping in the Fort Knox vault.
Eyes were like black pearls, lashes weren’t fake.
She was like a dream he's seeing awake.
Having that feeling he'd never felt before
he was like the water of ocean and
she was like the shore.
