Unfair Journey

Farabi 2004 (Dhaka)

City lights, winter nights
December is at its end
Thousand stars are in the sky
To me, you are like one of them.
Whom I don't know and you don’t know me
Late night walking on the streets together
Imagine, how nice that would be.
I'll wait until you come
will you wait for me?
Dreams are also there I'm chasing behind
sometimes what a soul needs is just a peace of mind.
I expected life as a comb of honey
but bees are also there for me
Expectation brings disappointment
Life is such an unfair journey.
I don’t believe in reality
because I don’t want to be sad
Losing myself is the biggest fear
I have ever had.
Sometimes it's hard to grab the rope
trying every single day with a new hope.
It feels so tired now
I just want to sleep
Don’t wake me up
until happiness becomes cheap.
