Analysis of Summer

Our Mother Earth has completed another round
The bright sun is blessing us for most of the day
Let's see what does it bring for us this time around
The joy of summer is surely there to stay
The high heat would surely like to thwart it away

Summer is renowned for sugarcane juice
The season of the sun is famous for the juicy gourds
The joy of biting into the sweet fruits
Summer is for cherished the cuckoo bird
The sunshine calls for the fritters with curd

Mangoes the colour of the setting sun
Are the epitome of everlasting delight
The sweet juice, the succulent pulp
Ensures that they are well-liked
Every one waits for a chunk of a bite

Is this a time meant to sit in silence and suffer?
Despite the heat, is this a time to discover?
