Analysis of Teach Me
They keep telling me.
Time will heal and memories will fade.
That you will recover from your battle scars.
I don’t know when I’ll start living again.
I seem to have forgotten how to breathe.
I only want to run to you.
You won’t be there on the other side of the door.
You’re not going to embrace me in your arms anymore.
Yesterday is the only day I want to relive.
Teach me how to move forward.
Tell me how to interact with this cruel society.
Take me where you went to so I can be safe.
I need you to guide me by the hand.
I want to follow you wherever the road takes me.
I’m waiting for your voice so I can pursue it.
Your life meant way much more to me.
You were the only one to hold my little soul.
Yearning for the comfort of your smile.
Tell me how to stop this suffering.
Take me to where I can be with you.
Teach me how to live without you here.
