Even You

Even you
can’t release me.

I had no happiness
until you appeared.
Standing in front of me so beautifully.

I couldn’t look away.
From that beauty of yours.
The mysterious goddess that was you.
The one everyone warned
would waver me is you.

I desire to follow their wishes.
But my heart wants to walk with you.

Even so,
not anyone can control fate.
So I will stay in my lane.

Everyone tells me
that you are the evil.
That you are no good for me.
They tell me to not lose focus.
So even you, I will have to ignore.

Even you
will become a fantasy.

Even you
will become
the dream I want to chase.

Even you
will become my obstacle.
Even you,
I will lie
that I’m happily giving you up.
