Analysis of Amazing Day

There isn't a silent second
That adds up to
A silent minute
Which adds up to be a noisy hour
And a fantastic, symphonic
Colorful
Spectacular day

The soundless second hand glides
Into the hours of my day
Momentous, stupendous, marvelous
Disastrous, painful, surviving
Like the clock
My silent heart thumps
To the rhythm of our revolving earth

All to return
To the still blackness
Of the timeless night
