The Banks Of A Bubbling Brook

Come, come and see
Coyote, and jackrabbit, black bird
Do come with me as joyful hand in hand we wander
Let’s hike the gorgeous rocky brown mountain roads
Sit on gray rock on the banks of the bubbling brook
The music of the rippling, roaring rush
The croaking of the toads
The light, refreshing breeze against my cheeks
And you so beautifully beside me,
So sensual, tender warm tender hands, embrace Like in a storybook
Or long-forgotten dream
Soon overcome our bashfulness
Soft kisses, smell of perfume, some fondling, now a charm
Put blanket on a soft, moist green
So quickly our loving time in the vast meadow
Mesh with the chirping bird, the rustle of the grass
The vast unending sky a silent happy witness
Evaporating the anxious in heart’s romantic cure
Of our love so innocent and pure
Oblivious of dancing sunbeam, rustling branches
So privileged, private our space, under nature’s colorful canvass
To care, to share, to love albeit but a minute fraction of our life
