Sunlight

In small shapes I see
Hues reflected against the clouds
Cool pinks, shades, variations
Each so distinct, so pristine
Lemon, purple, orange
Translucent
Tomato, pear, apple
Strawberry succulent
Yet it's the bright sun's glow
Slowly diminishing at the horizon
Glistening, retreating
Often penetrating the fluttering leaves
Attached are tiny bugs, invaders migrants
Leave dancing mottled shadows
The symmetry of clouds and light, all green
Red, purple, moving in the wind
With even moving white clouds reflecting now seen
Picture postcard perfect
In scenic awe, with my own eyes
My own world
As the last glimpse of light dives on the horizon
