Analysis of THE PUNISHER

The Punisher arrives
In the dark and savage night,
Avenging innocent victims
And making all wrongs right.

Murderers and rapists all
Need to be well aware,
That if they escaped justice
The Punisher will soon be there.

The innocent are all under
The protection of this man,
He'll keep them all unharmed
If there is any way that he can,

But if that becomes impossible
And good people end up dead,
He will hunt down the culprits
And soon the streets will run red.

Red with the blood of the guilty
Who have somehow escaped the law,
Who have managed to evade justice
Who leave the loathsome night raw.

The Punisher will hunt them
And locate them with ease,
Making them rue their crimes
As he brings them to their knees.

The guilty cannot avoid him
As he stalks the moonless night,
Exacting bitter-sweet justice
Until the beginning of daylight,

The Punisher arrives when
The lawless cannot be caught,
He punishes them with finality
His harsh lessons must be taught.

Taught to wayward travellers
Who pervade the malignant dark,
Rounding upon the unwary
Like some kind of hideous shark.

Nut soon the villains fall in line
As painful lessons have been learnt,
And the price of living onward
Cannot always easily be earnt.

THE END
