TREVOR TAAFE AND I

In my early days eSelling
When I was still fresh and naive,
I got ripped off by a stinker
Whose name was Trevor Taafe.

He tricked me, oh how he conned me
Out of money and out of my goods,
I sold him a rare, rain-damaged book
Warning this, as an honest vendor would.

But I wasn't allowing for the dishonesty
Of someone like Trevor Taafe,
A conman was he most assuredly
Most thoroughly a complete knave.

He claimed I'd overcharged him
After I'd complimented his fast payment,
And he would slander me on the sight
Unless back his money I sent.

So I sent him back his money
Though, of course, he kept the book,
Then he slandered me in a negative rating
Lying and calling Me a crook!

Of course, the site would not help me
It is not what they are there for,
They just collect your money
Until your wallet is truly sore.

Yes eSites are as greedy as the big banks
And just as corrupt as Trevor Taafe,
So if you're thinking of selling on the Net
It's really time to think again.
