Analysis of Dancing on Fire

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

You say that you love me but when it comes down to it your just another sweet liar
You know I really can’t help myself when I get close to you I get high for I can hear the music playing in my heart that burns me with your sweet desires
You know I can’t help myself when you got me dancing on fire burning me with your flame that takes me higher
You know I’m feeling lost in your wicked game of desire you got me dancing on fire
You know time will only tell for when I’m with you girl you promised me heaven then you cast your spell
And when I look into your crystal eyes you put me through hell with your sweet desires your flame burns me up and takes me higher
I can’t help myself when you got me dancing, dancing on fire
