Analysis of Smart of Dumb?

Smart fridges, smart meters, smart phones
So "they" can spy on us whilst were in our homes
Smart cities, smart grids and smart motorways
Smart dust NANO toxic metals in aerosol sprays
Surrounding the populations in a smart grid haze

Lets get "smart"? lets get a microwave radiation dart
That will pulsate rotten energies through our heart
Smart televisions, smart zones, and smart water
For you, your father, mother, son and your daughter

"They" say you will save a few quid on your quarterly bill
But neglect to inform us, that it will make us all ill
Lets get wise, lets see through "their" wicked disguise
Lets research this technology, use our ears and our eyes
Before we all end up sick and our senses get fried

Nicola Baxter

I have wrote many poems over the years, poetry has helped me express what I could not express verbally, and has helped me grow inwardly. I have written poems on many different topics, some humorous stories in poetry form, and some deep meaningful and emotive ones, inspired by events, and from personal experiences and what I witness and observe that has moved me in some way. more…
