Analysis of Dirty Death

Luke Breen 1998 (United States)

Scrubbing yourself down with soap
Trying to cope
To what’s been done
When there’s no more fun
Feel like pulling out the gun
Walking out, like a slum
Feeling like scum
As your head beats like a drum
And you feel dumb
Trying to lie
Who you lay by
All you do is cry
As the days fade
What have you made
A life cut like a jade
Once smooth, but roughened by a blade
Why have you stayed
After what you’ve played
And who you’ve laid by
Why even try
You know she’s going to die
Who’s going to see
If you get up to pee
Or go drink some tea
Your wife’s sick
And who are you going to lick
You may kick
You may scream
But you left for the cream
As she sees through the steam
You with the lady meant to clean
And you start to scream
You love feind
Why are you so mean
As the tissue drops, and the floor’s not so clean
