Wedding

Wedding
By: Luke Breen

Help me to bed
Before I wed
I had fallen asleep, from the book I read
With the sheets a spread
I lay, and sleep like the dead
Waking and baking
I must jump up, and start shaking
Around my room
Till the clock struck noon
The party ends
Then the fun begins
I go get my dress
Though I look like such a mess
My mom could guess
I wanted to digress
Nothings what it should be, it’s a complete mess
For my dress
Had a stain
And it filled me with such pain
Though it was no greater than a grain
I thought it was the size of Maine
And my face looks so plain
What does he see
In a girl like me
I said I had to pee
So I went behind a tree
And wonder what life will be
As a wife making her way through life
And wondering how she could live
If she could not forgive
A man such as Stan
For laying with your sister Pam
