Analysis of Mans destruction

Who is this species that calls himself man,
Proclaiming his own perfection
Spending all his time bringing forth his own destruction,
He spends all his time making it nice,
Another comes along and destroys it
As some sort of holy sacrifice.

This world will turn,
The sands of time will shift,
Mother nature will have the last laugh,
All that man has done will become just another time rift
