I saw you in my dreams,

I saw you in my dreams
I gazed upon your face,
And in your eyes,
I felt a love,
No one could replace.

You melted my heart in a single glance,
Upon your delicate lips,
Like the silken petals of a rose,
A seductive smile did dance.
                                     
Your voice enchanting me gently,
Whispering softly like a mountain brook,
Unwritten words of your love etched on my heart
As if from a poetry book.  

The colour in your hair,
Like cascading sunlight
Falling over golden grass.
My beating hearts pure delight.
