Analysis of Heart of gold

She woke from surgery
Blurry eyed and confused
Yet something felt different, she felt more life
She gazed around to find but a note
A note of prescription perhaps

But once she read it only a stream of tears followed by

The handwriting gave it away, scribbled and small fonted
Still lifeful and thought-through
Yet it was the words that followed
The words resonating the greatest degree of love

"Hey love, it's me
If you're reading this it means your surgery was successful and I couldn't be prouder
I once told you how my heart belonged to you and now its where it belongs, with you
I love you more than life itself, which is why I ended mine so you could live yours
You showed me what love was while you brought me life and now I must return the favor
You can now live on with my heart as I wait for you, amongst the stars
Smiling cause I was yours and forever grateful we met
Hope I showed you what love was
Take good care of our heart love
Until we meet again
- Your favorite"
