Less is more

Far fetched were the days of surprise
For now by the first text, he knew whether to accept or reprise

Too much of anything is good for nothing they said
It loses its value they said, and boy were they right
Nonetheless, he dived too deep, blindsight
He dived depths where light had lost its effect on it
To depths where he was fed-up of it

Now he roams with remorse
For he has created a new sport
The sport of making strangers with memories

Through all this though, one thing he did learn
That one lesson of which he held high regard
The lesson that sometimes less is more
