Analysis of Innocent Eyes

Innocent eyes gaze openly forward
Into the many futures offered
Trusting arms reach out with open hands
To grasp the reality perhaps only seen by one
Uniting passionately with it until
All else fades into the background
To bring forth a tiny spot of perfection
In a cold and shameful world

I used to be an active poet on the old site. Luckily, I saved my poetry before the site tanked. I'm going to assume that all records of awards, publishing, and mentions are gone as well? A pity. more…
