Analysis of Innocent Eyes
Carla J Suggs 1953 (CA)
Innocent eyes gaze openly forward
Into the many futures offered
Trusting arms reach out with open hands
To grasp the reality perhaps only seen by one
Uniting passionately with it until
All else fades into the background
To bring forth a tiny spot of perfection
In a cold and shameful world
