The world has gone dry...
Even though it has been raining...
Through the cracks that we’ve created,
Swallowed by the earth that is offended.

The greed we've shown,
Like poison in the air, dispersed,
All that is plastic is what we parade,

Some refer her to a ghost,
From the past back get her scores,
Other calls her cold,
A ruthless leaving no friends nor fore's.
She is blessed with looks,
Enough to sway one from thy feet,
Her eyes black but blazing fire behind the nooks,

Wow! This is so wonderful and I am lost in words after reading this. It's amazing how you've told a story- a heartbreaking story- into a simple poem. I love the flow and the rhymes. It makes it easy to read and understand.
