This poem is centered around grief of an anguished soul who yearns for joy and peace.

The poem is mainly depicting the love and affection a mother as towards her child, irrespective of the situation and circumstance she finds herself the love for her child comes first.

The poem is mainly about hope. The hope of a better day despite the struggles, turmoil and despair.

The poem is simply talking about a certain child(ABIKU). The child dies after a particular period, reasons behind the name "ABIKU" the child dies and comes back with a scar which portrays the child's former life. No amount of sacrifice can make ABIKU stay. more »
