Find myself
Bewildered, forced

Potential energy
Away from myself –

Despite how
Much I care –
And I really
Do, I swear –
I cannot sink
Deeper, ever deeper

abyss, where I
So often find

Lost Musings on a Past Love

Would it have killed
You to - just once -
Ask how I was doing?
It almost killed me.

I did not want
To leave you, but
It felt necessary
For my survival.

I gave and gave
For you to ignore
All my feelings my
Problems and more.
