Christmas Comes

Christmas comes for what it was
of sharing gifts for all the cause
Of loving man for what he meant
when finding God in all he sent

And telling others
remember when
I loved you how
And loved you...

Drugged Along

I took the drug for all it's worth
and talked the drug from death to birth
And wondered why I walked the walk
of drugged for mice and not for Earth

And told myself what I would know
when all who others said I'm stoned
Told death for me when...

Olivia this is beautiful. To understand love so well is not common. The palm of the hand on the heart and the feeling of soft buzz on Spruce. Could you understand any less. Wow! Cool Olivia. I wish I'd experienced as much as you have. You're are a lucky woman. Time well spent. Trevor

Phillip this is genius. You took metaphor, imagination, human comparison and your own experiences and put them together in an amazing surreal experience for us to identify with. You are a great man Sir Phillip. I am humbled. Trevor

Shelby I'm amazed that you understand that man's conquests are futile. Most people continue to fight for a dream. They are never real. Your wording is fabulous and your knowledge is wonderful in all your phrases. I'm a bit of a rhymer myself so I didn't like the last word of the poem not rhyming but it was an excellent poem. Well done! I hope more people educate themselves on a subject as well as you did this one. Trevor
