Poems »

I am a 58 yr old African American woman who has always dreamed of writing . When I was a child I used to hide in my closet and write about the way life was for me being a middle child and not feeling like I belonged to our family. As years went by and life happened my dream quickly took a back seat .I am now 58 and my life has been a roller derby ride so now its time to tell it. It's time for me to step out and be heard.
