Mary Louise is a self-taught writer who has discovered a passion for creative writing and literature. She recently found a way to hone her skills among a group of woman writers who have been a source of nurture and support. Perennial Poets has given her the stimulus and encouragement to share similar interests within a group of women who have progressed their writing career’s and are able to give constructive feedback and reinforcement. Mary Louise’s writing is often an expression of her inner world- view as life presents itself at any given moment. Without exception, while drafting her fashion designs she has often been found to scribble her ideas on pattern paper. The process being likened to her thoughts and ideas being plucked from the sky to form a relationship with her words and the audience on ground. Throughout her life she has explored many interests such as a background in Fashion Design and the creative arts, building renovations, gardening and the Welfare community. She sees the world from a unique lens and likes to bring people on an exploratory journey as she formulates her ideas through the written word. She is passionate about her spirituality as she is for human rights and justice as these values fit into her role as a support worker. She hopes to actively influence her broader community by challenging and influencing people’s way of seeing things. She likes to explore the hidden meanings, nuances and complexities of life through various writing styles.
