I started writing poetry as small child of about 10. My first poem came about as an assignment given in my 5th grade English class. Ironically the first poem I ever wrote was about addiction to alcohol and was inspired by my biological father who wasn't, unfortunately, in my life much due to the lifestyle of alcoholism that he lead. My love and passion for writing poetry has unmeasurably grown throughout the years ranging in a wide variety of subjects. Living dyslexia won't be my downfall, define irony as I write it all.
