Aloha Mai Kākou, My name is Jurielle Cassandra Angel P. Martinez-Parel. I loved poetry since I was a kid and I’ve enterd some poetry contests since I was a kid one of which was named in honor of one of The people I admire The Martin Luther King Jr peace poetry contest. After I enterd middle School I kind of lost intrest in poetry and took a break from it for like 2 years. Until I heard of The love of my life The sixth King of Hawaiʻi King William Charles Lunalilo he helped me spark my intrest in poetry again as he loved poetry as much as I do and encouraged me again to go into poetry contests again such as this one which I’ve heard an ad on it on a website. I hope you all enjoy The poem I wrote for him and feel The love that we share.
