The Weather And Me

My head hurts as I feel broken and torn
Just like hurricanes in the eye of a storm
Tears are constantly rolling from my eyes
Like the Rain lashing down from the sky

I’m Broken, not knowing what to do or where to go
Like the aftermath of one of nature’s tornadoes

My pain is unbearable, I’m weak as I fall
Like winters large solid hailstone balls
Life seems to have drained all of the best of me
Similar to the aftermath of a tsunami

Please change my path
Let’s have a break in this bad weather
Surely this can’t continue
At least not forever

I’m hopeful one day soon the Sun will shine through a break in the cloud
And my smile can start returning after so much doubt

Rainbows appear all colourful and bright
Like the warmth of friendships that guide us through tough times
