Horror Poetry Set #006

ALL HALLOWS EVE (II)
On All Hallows Eve
While goodness is sleeping,
Great evil surely wakes.

ANCIENT BEINGS (II)
Ancient beings from
Some twilight world: forgotten yet,
Very far from gone.

ANGRY GOD (I)
Angry God raging
Thinning the human herd;
Chaos, not miracles.

THE BEAST CHILD (II)
Beast child born of terror
Raised in a house of hate,
Evil bred within.

BEAUTIFUL DEMON (13/05/2021)
Beautiful demon
Sensual like a woman,
Eager soon to feed.

CHAMBER OF HORRORS (II)
Eerie creaking chains
Mournful cries are heard within,
A crumbling old house.

THE CHASE IS ON (II)
Angry canine teeth
Chase you through your dreams, then
Catch you when you wake.

CHILDREN OF EVIL
Children of evil
Stalking through dark alleyways,
Hunting human prey.

CHILDREN OF THE DARKNESS
Children of darkness
Prowl through the night alleyways,
Evil on their minds.

CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT (I)
Children of the night
Young demons in the making,
Learning how to kill.

CLOSING FOR THE KILL (12/05/2021)
Wispy shadows swirling
Dire warnings of terrors
Closing for the kill.

COLD FIRE (I)
Cold fire burning brightly
Chills you to the marrow,
Burning without heat.

COLD RAGE
A mindless fury
Icy cold rage burning bright,
Evil being hatched.

COLD SWEAT (II)
A cold sweat grips you
Too terrified to move, as
Fiends lurch toward you.

THE CRAWLING HORROR (I)
A crawling slug named Muggsly
A slimy, bloated thing;
Evil through and through.

CREATURES FROM THE STARS
Tortured souls writhe
Tormented by alien horrors,
Creatures from the stars.

CREATURES OF DARKNESS
Life devolved to forms
Too monstrous to contemplate,
Creatures of darkness.

THE CREDITOR (I)
You sold your soul
For mere fortune and fame,
But now the creditor calls.

CREEPING NEAR (15/03/2009)
Madness creeping near
Evil things as yet undone,
Soon the time will come.

CREEPING TERRORS
Night-time is your foe
The daylight can protect you,
From creeping terrors.

CREEPY CRAWLING
Whispery, gabbling voices
Wake you from deep sleep,
Horror creeps round your room.

DANGER SIGNS IN THE DARK
Danger signs in the dark
Night-time evil approaching
Evil crouching near.

THE DARK BROTHERHOOD
A dark brotherhood
Sworn to do evil against,
All who live outside.

THE DARK NEIGHBOURHOOD
The dark neighbourhood:
Where capering demons wait,
To invade your dreams.

DARKNESS EMBRACES YOU
The darkness embraces you
Holds you like a lover,
Drags you to your doom.

DARKNESS IN HER SOUL
Darkness in her soul
Evil guides the actions,
Of this woman from Hell.

THE DARKNESS WELCOMES YOU
Darkness welcomes you
With long, shadowy arms,
Drawing you to danger.

DARK OF THE MOON
Dark moon overhead
Foreteller of great evil,
Creeping, slinking death.

THE DARK OF THE NIGHT
Whirling images of
Faces and hands, in the dark night;
Closing in on you.

DARK OF THE WOODS
Through the dark night woods
Run evil, loping creatures,
Hunting human prey.

A DARK RITUAL
A dark ritual
Performed on a lonely hill,
Far from prying eyes.

DARK RITUALS (in)
Dark rituals performed
Under the cover of night,
On a lonely hill.

DARK SEAS
Dark seas crash to shore
Under starless, moonless skies,
Piscine horrors near,

DARK SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT (II)
Night’s dark shadows hide
All manner of evil,
Lurking just out of sight.

DARK WATERS (I)
Dark waters crash on
Lifeless continents;
Humanity now deceased.

DARK WINGS HOVERING (I)
Dark wings hovering
Blocking out the moon, larger
Than any known bird.

DEAD MAN WALKING (12/05/2021)
A wispy shape moves
A nightmare to remember!
A dead man walking.

DEATH DRAWING NEARER (12/05/2021)
A trail of Darkness
Wispy shadows are moving,
Death drawing nearer.

DEMONS FLICKERING (12/05/2021)
An evil pattern
Emerging in the darkness
Demons flickering.

EVIL QUETZALCOATL
A great plumed serpent
With large, feathered wings:
Evil Quetzalcoatl.

GHOSTS SKATE (12/05/2021)
Flickering monsters
Ghosts skate on moon-slicked grass
Slowly drawing near.

HORRID (12/05/2021)
Horrid being
With beady reptilian eyes,
And a beak-like mouth.

PANIC IN THE NIGHT
Quivering with fear
You watch Pan’s followers spread,
Terror far and wide.

PHANTOM BEASTS
Mind fogged by terror
Of unseen things in the night,
Snarling, phantom beasts.

A PHANTOM BEHIND EACH ROCK
Evil creatures lurk;
A phantom behind each rock,
Readying to pounce.

THE PISCINE
A fish-like beast with
A long neck ringed with gills, and
Eyes round as saucers.

READYING (12/05/2021)
Wispy forms are moving
Slowly toward their prey,
Readying to slaughter.

THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWE’EN (12/05/2021)
Sam Haine lurking near
The Hallowe’en spirit strikes,
Slaughtering hundreds.

SUDDENLY (12/05/2021)
Lovers are strolling
Blind to danger lurking near,
Suddenly they die.

TORMENT (12/05/2021)
Shambling monsters seek
Living people to torment,
Then to slowly kill.
