My Aeroplane

I want to fly my aeroplane
above the clouds
and pouring rain
To slip those earthen bonds, so surly,
I need to get there fairly early

I want to dive my aeroplane
into the clouds
and back again
To lick the dew drops from my hand
To steal it from the thirsty land.

I want to fly my aeroplane
but her cloth is torn
and wings are maimed

Thus until I can fix these things,
my aeroplane is just a dream.
