Lost Innocence (or) Fill in the blank

Sally Moran 1948 (New York)

When I was young, not even grown,
you showed me things I shouldn't have known.
You put your hands all over me,
In places where they shouldn't be.
You didn't care what I would say,
you only cared that you got your way.
You put huge fears into my heart,
that through the years would not depart.
I've  always felt not good enough,
so relationships were always tough.
I feel so undeserving of,
other people's care and love.
You'd think that after all these years,
I'd forget about the doubts and fears,
and not remember being used,
degraded, dirty and abused.
Afraid to be alone with you,
because I knew just what you'd do.
You took away a part of me,
that no one else will ever see.
You took away my childhood,
and in it's place this evil stood.
I live with it both night and day,
it never, ever goes away.
Do you know how hard it gets to be,
to tell no one what you did to me!
To always lie and suppress what's real,
to cover up how i really feel.
My ----------- was supposed to be,
someone who'd take care of me.
But I couldn't count on you back then,
now all we have is what could have been.
