The Young & The Old

What is it with the Young & the Old,
One is so shy the other so bold,
The young looks to life for the thrill of the game,
The old remember all the suffering and pain,
The young look up to the old with eyes wanting to learn,
The old looks at the young in their eyes passion burns,
When a woman and man are a part of the two,
You can bet at some point what one of them will want to do,
For human nature is about the reality of life,
It doesn't care about the bonds of husband or wife,
So beware of the friends you meet as you grow,
Because if you are not on guard you may let your nature go,
If you cross the line it really is not the end,
For a lot of times you end up with a lifelong friend,
Age is important and it has its place in the way we live,
Don't let it stop you from sharing the experiences life gives,
You are entitled to make mistakes as you grow,
Be it The Young or The Old we never really know.
