Quiet Mind

Edward T Medalis 1939 (Detroit Michigan)

Observation is the key to a quiet mind for thee
Purge motives, goals, and expectations
Cast not a thought, about relations
Your mind will pass far away from the one that you call me

Let consciousness meander and meditate
Your essence will submerge in a nature dream
That ripples and flows like a pure water stream
This mental vacation gives peace that is great

Choose a calm location scented sweet and kind
A brush of swaying tree tops painting the sky
With quiet blue color or cluttered with clouds
Allow yourself to drift with a quiet mind
