Someone Who Shares

Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)

On quaint porches in rocking chairs
Folks rest from their daily cares.

They thrive, grateful for three squares.
“Life is good.”  Each declares.

Christians a brother’s burdens bear.
Followers of Jesus seldom despair.

At God’s altar their souls they bare,
Energetic Christians, astute, aware.

An exalted vision a Christian dares.
No kind deed or thought he spares.

If God answers all one’s prayers,
Will one see how much He cares?

Together triumph over evil snares,
For tears and smiles a Christian shares.
