What a Windy Day

met a man
he called me lover
moved away
his heart grew farther

called him twice
texted him thrice
even emailed his sister

he's like the wind now
feelings blown away
drifting towards another
oh how his heart can sway

WAIT!
he's texted me!
It's been a year!
and finally, it's here!

its.....
a question
a query
a plead

he's asking for advice
about the breeze
that took him to his knees...
