While all slept
Trembling fingers,
Failing knees,
Knocking lips,
Pulsating heart...
Pulsating faster
And faster,
And faster,
Spreading fear with each pulse,
Deep into the core.
Streams of tears,
Muffled moans,
Shrieks of cries,
Bitter outbursts,
Curses and prayers,
A slap on the face,
A shrewd laugh,
A sneer, a jeer,
A sneeze,
Another slap,
More severe and rough.
Aimless kicks and
A rain of blows
stopped, cuffed,
by a hand of steel.
Tattering of cloths,
Bursting of buttons,
A yelp a wail,
A muffled moan.
Suddenly, bitterly,
A surging pain,
Tearing, excruciating,
Unspeakably unabiding,
A thousand pain bits in one,
Scotching and scratching,
Within and without,
Pain in, pain out.
(A slaves whip,
A horse's kick,
A stab on the back,
Would not match it.)
Finally, tired,
All strength spent,
Dizziness, darkness,
Oblivion.
(Nearly death.)
Rising and falling,
A beast at its worst,
Devouring, shattering,
Molesting, raping,
An innocent soul.
Tearing to pieces,
Both the future and the past.
Then,smiling,
and licking lips,
And slipping backwards,
Huge steps,
Retarding backwards,
A squeak on the door,
A thud of the door.
Left inside,
A sprawl on the floor,
Left for a corpse ,
Lucky to be alive,
yet daring death,
And cursing God
and life
and fate
(and the salvage beast,
worse than an animal)
Tears trailing down,
Tears of agony and anguish,
Of innocence forsaken,
Of a perpetual blemish.
Inside, silence,
Save for the sighs
of the sodomized innocent.
Outside, a storm,
Raging with thunderous claps.
Tearing the sky apart
As if aware of the innocents cry,
Of the helpless 'fly'.
