Unfettered

What disconcerts my beloved?
My affluent husband recently feted.
The best of health his has been,
The best of homes him I have given.

As too young a widow to weep,
Into his diary I must peep.
Wow: mean mother, feunding former wife.
Vow: Forgiveness for neither in this life.

"Cooperate hubby, joy and peace to regain.
Anger, hatred, revenge, disdain.
Both forgive; diary destroy; I plead,
For our good, entreaty heed."

"No! No! Not while I live,
Will these miscreants forgive."
"Beloved dear! Please be docile.
Forget! Forget! Reconcile!"

"Darling dear! Thanks. Since plea granted,
Sleep unknown, I've been warranted.
Happiness unsurpassed, I've tasted.
Unfettered! With joy, I'm sated."
