Trampled Virginity

"Welcome to the dark side."
he said as he stepped
into the run down hotel room.
Frightened, I rose and leaned into his arms.
This guy had enchanted me for so long.
Trying to erase my embarrassment
he lowered his head
and pressed his soft lips to mine.
I could taste beer and cigarettes
On his breath.
I wished he had chewed some gum.
I knew I was too young and he too old.
A crazy teen with a crush
and some married guy looking for a rush.
It felt like I had been scorched by love.
I wanted desperately to leave
but I knew it was too late to go back.
You didn’t mess around
with someone like him.
He pulled my sweater over my head.
My heart beat out of control,
but my body remained frozen in place.
The room collasped around us
as he pulled me unto the bed.
Did he even care that I would
leave my trampled virginity there?
