Thoughts of You

If you could only live my life, and feel the way I feel,
then you would know that the love I have inside for you is real.

I dream of you night after night, and think of you day after day,
wishing that we could be together forever, hoping to find a way.

I think of the fun that we could have together,
the love that we could share.
I think of you wrapping your arms around me,
and telling me how much you care.

I listen to the words you speak, especially the ones to me,
waiting for you to mention that you too believe we were meant to be.

The difference in my life that you make to me is so extreme,
I can only sit and wonder if this difference will ever be seen.
