The-BattleShip-Texas

The Battleship Texas is part of our history.
Launched from a Virginia berth,in 1914.
Been around the world a thousand times,
She-has-sailed the seven seas.
The Battleship Texas, stands for Liberty.
She fought in many battles,in-WWI&WWII.
Her mighty canons roared through the night.
She kept on fighting through and true.
Look back to the stern, forward to the bow.
This mighty old warship, Stands tall&proud.
Ones that served upon her,share-her memories
And-she shed her tears for those who died
Who fought to keep us free.
Her-home in Houston,For all the world to see.
When you walk across her deck,
You still feel rumbling in your knees.
The-People-in the Lone Star State,
Preserved American memories.
Of the Battleship Texas,
She stands for Liberty
