The Time Traveler

I am traveling to see you, through time and space.
I was always here with you, just lost and alone.
You love has been my beacon, my blanket in the cold.
Your eyes draw me home, to my heart and my soul.
A kind smile, a tender gesture are fuel for my journey.
Again I slip into the waves of time, no longer lost.
I have a companion with me now as time slips by.
Hold me tight, love me gently, we jump again thru time.
Days, minutes, hours and years… They all flow by fast.
Yet all seems like only a moment as my heart beats with yours.
My life is yours; you are my heart and my soul.
I travel to see you now, though you’ve never once left me.
