The Night personified

The Night Personified

She is luminous with the soft moonlight caressing her skin;
The moon is naught but an adornment.
She is the night—the night is herself,
The enigmatic Goddess of Sympathy, the breathtaking Night.

She is so lovely, and yet is shrouded in veils of darkness;
Her might is might unforeseen.
She is the verse of solace, solace and great comfort,
The mighty Goddess of Empathy, the adoring Night.

She is an immortal Titan, and yet symbolizes a placid harbor for us her children;
With gentle arms and patient smile,
She endears while we breathe fiery passion on her, deep and malevolent desires.
The tolerant Goddess of Loyalty, the faithful Night.

She is the dusky weaver of a tapestry of poignant dreams;
Her wisdom is of unsurpassable means.
She is the preacher of authenticity, the mists of pity in our spirit,
The sincere Goddess of Humanity, the conscious Night.
