The Knives of Man

You are the Way, My Lord.
You are the Way, My Lord.
I fall to my ceramic knees
and I surrender all I am unto you.
Shepherd, shield me from
manipulating knives of man.
I shall rise into pillows of clouds
and allow your misty spirit to
embrace my chamber of light.
Keep me resonated, my Holy King.
Nourish my melodic soul with your
hallow touch, and guide my icy
spirit into the Pearly Gates.
I shall be mindful of your laws,
and stand tall against the thunder
that wishes to break the back of
your congregated body.
For now I am the straw that shall
not bend to the wicked ways of man.
I shall remain firm, with you acting
as my foundation from which I shall
stand strong and tall amongst these
vicious flames.
