The fairy with the broken wings
Little Fairy living in a cold place.
She used to fly
really high,every day,
trying to approach the golden Sun.
The Sun standing too high,
really not an easy place to find,
he could see her shiny eyes.
though she was really far away.
And that's what he decided:
a gift for her to offer,
a little Sunbeam ,a precious ray,
to be her best friend,
to stand close to her
and not too far away..
So the fairy flew every day
to meet her Sunbeam ,to touch the ray,
to wash her wings and her diamond face,
into his tender warm light of day.
But then the Winter had come
that really hated the Sun
and little fairy's cold place
was getting even colder day after day.
Her crystal wings were frozen now
and so difficult to move,
and from her cold prison
she could only see the moon.
And the Sunbeam was afraid,
couldn't go down in such a place,
he was scared of the cold rage,
wouldn't run this frozen race.
And the little fairy is alone now,
praying everyday to make it dance again,
angels' songs with her little friend,
hoping that her shiny prince
won't blame her for her broken wings.
