The Day After

Pure thoughts once traveled
Through our created minds.
But all were lost in undocumented time.
From this moment on, begins my climb,
To forget the behemoth, Remind.
Who cares about that first
Beguiled, defamed, despised attack,
For we must always win the battle
To survive, and never retract.
We can't reclaim innocent years,
No pain, no fear, no tears,
Consumed us unawares.
Each day when joy inspires our soul,
Stay as long as you like
Lose Remind and lose control.
Enjoy, be strong, be bold, and bright,
So little time, enjoy each flight.
