The Baptist Way Has Failed

I go to Church
Everybody's dressed to impress
I'm dressed to reflect
Everybody judges negatively
I close my eyes in prayer to heal
You close your mind in hate to deal
I'm not for or against you
What do you feel? (Repeat)

Death follows you everywhere cause you refuse to speak life
There's no Holy Spirit in your heart
There's no love in your minds
All your faith is a secular based lie
You don't believe in blessing
You believe in getting blessed

All your Doctorine is open for interpretation
Theology is a Eulogy to you
And resurrection is a myth in your eyes
Baptized in fire
Tongues bathed in flames
Life set ablaze
And you want nothing to do with it
The unashamed are ashamed of their own skin

Surviving snake bites doesn't prove your invincibility
No one's immune to poison
Not even Satan himself
Everyone has a vulnerability exposed
Your is just more out in the open than most

You can write your own Bible like the catholics and the Satanists
There's only one Word that's true
You can't rewrite what's already been spoken
Only God can change this liquid heart
And you're still like
What's the real version?

The Baptist way is killing us
There's no fruit in it
That's why everyone's following suit in their skepticism

That's not Jesus (Repeat)

Eugene Hetler

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and that goes with Him. I read the Bible and pray daily. I try not to be judgemental but some days the fire comes out like a dragon burping a big gas fire on accident after a big meal. I love to write. Please read waht I write. I love to write things that encourage and hopefully are fun to read and make you laugh til you cry. I even like to write things that inspire and make you think in a deep way some of the time. Whoever's hacking my account and erasing my hard work is cheating me and the people who enjoy my work and it needs to stop or you'll suffer the consequences. :) more…
