That Darn Headache

Oh, here it comes again
Those spots and bright lights
Get this Kaleidoscope
out of my face, will you?

Now, my head's hurting
It's splitting in two
throbbing, pounding
Get that devil out, will you?

Even my hair hurts
Please turn off the lights
and that darn TV too
Please give me a cold rag, will you?

 It's my right side
Tho' sometimes, the left joins in too
Feeling that my eyeballs' on the outside
Let me get some sleep, will you?

Ah, at last, I feel much better
 Must be that meltable Triptan
Tho' I still feel like a train ran over me
Let me give you a big hug, will you?

When I have time, I tend to write essays and forums, sometimes for our local newspaper in areas that interest me, some of which may be quite controversial. I love "point" and "counterpoint", having been a co-captain of my Hi-school debate team. Poetry is not my genre of choice. I do it when some subjects prompts me, but I do find solitude in it. more…
